Obama in Fantasyland again
By drredeye • Jul 29th, 2008 • Category: NewsDemocratic presidential candidate Barack Obama returned to the nation of Fantasyland again on Sunday, July 27th while speaking in Chicago at a UNITY journalism convention.

When asked whether he would be a strong contender for president if he were a Muslim, Obama dodged the question but said this from the window of his Magic Kingdom:
“[The] American people are more tolerant and open-minded than a lot of the pundits give them credit for.”
Yes, black Americans are so open-minded that about 90% of them are voting for Obama just because he’s black.
Obama also addressed a question about whether there were too many immigrants coming to the country by saying:
“The problem is not the number of immigrants. The problem is when we’ve got a legal immigration system running parallel with an illegal immigration system.”
Obama then proposed a legal immigration system running parallel with an illegal immigration system.
That is, Mr. Slick proposed a path to citizenship for law-abiding illegal immigrants in the country (which is a legal immigration system) and penalties for companies who hire illegal immigrants as well as tightened border security (which is an illegal immigration system).
By the way, the “journalists” in the audience cheered and gave Obama a standing ovation as he walked on stage. Yes, journalists… i.e., neutral media writers. Nah, the media doesn’t have a liberal bias.
