Who on earth is Dr. Red Eye? Glad you asked.
Dr. Red Eye is a conservative guy who’s not old. He shoots it straight…and with a side of sass.
Tired of the bajillion liberal blogs out there with no conservative counterpoint, Dr. Red Eye decided to take matters into his own hands with this site. That means Dr. Red Eye will probably get a bajillion instant enemies, but he also hopes to get a bazillion friends by energizing and unifying the many conservatives out there who are currently ducking their heads in the sand amid the liberal onslaught.
What’s with the moniker? Glad you asked again. Red is representative of conservative values (e.g., Republican states are called red states). Eye is what we use to see the world. Thus, Red Eye refers to seeing the world through a conservative worldview. And the Doctor part? (Full of questions aren’t you?) Well, the highest level of education is a doctorate degree. Let’s just say Dr. Red Eye is way up there on the level of conservative perspectives. OK, he ain’t exactly humble…but that’s why he didn’t call himself “Humble Red Eye”, now did he?
As for the site, this does not pretend to be a news site. It is an opinion site. If you cut it open, it will bleed opinion. Even the news on this site will be tainted with conservative opinions. Unapologetically.
While some conservative opinion sites may exist on the net, few deliver their chatter irreverently. But for that symptom, the Doctor is in. Irreverence will be prescribed in grand doses. With unlimited refills.
Be amused. Be motivated. Be part of the movement. And, oh yeah, appointments are optional.
